LEX L10 is the first rugged, high performance smartphone built specifically for police and public safety personnel to
feature a form factor and design quality in line with consumer grade devices. It was intended to fight the rampant
trend of consumer devices permeating the public safety commuications market.
My Role
I initiated the initial proposal and concept design for the LEX L10. Once the project was committed I led the
industrial design development and managed remote design resources in Singapore, near the ODM.
The project was executed in collaboration with remote Engineering and PdM teams in Chicago and Singapore.
The LEX L10 won a 2015 Edison Award.
