The MakerBot Replicator+ desktop 3D printer was an important product line refresh for MakerBot, indented to shore up quality and reliability while building upon a strong foundation of design quality and ease of use.
My Role
I played a leadership role in the development of the Replicator+ from informing it's original scope, to driving it's design development, branding, and go to market strategy as well as planning and presenting at the product's launch event. I also had key role in defining and executing the comprehensive MakerBot Solution for Professionals, of which the Replicator+ was a central component along with new software applications and workflows, and new printable materials. My team led several efforts to promote the product and professional solution through content, customer case studies, and also developed much of the marketing visual collateral.
The Replicator+ has garnered positive feedback from technology publications and won a 2017 iF Design award.
